Because a lot of the team had three races in the past seven days, we had another recovery run today and tomorrow morning, would be our hard workout. People who couldn’t make it tomorrow had their workout today though, and I really wanted to do my workout today, but my coach didn’t let me. I really don’t want to wake up for 9 am practice (which actually isn’t as bad as 8 am practice during the summer), but it looks like I have no choice.
Anyway, I hit the trails today with a teammate and we did an easy 6 miles. My legs are actually still sore (particularly my quads) although it’s not as bad as yesterday. I’m not sure of what tomorrow’s workout is, but my friend said it was 400’s or intervals or something. Hopefully I won’t melt and I’m still in need of a watch
