Because I’m on vacation and it’s little harder for me to run outside (more like it’s really hot and humid outside and I die in 30 minutes), I’ve been doing more of my runs and workouts inside. I’ve also decided that this would be a good time to cross train and start up cross training as a really regular thing (especially this summer).
For most of us runners, our legs are pretty awesome but our upper body could really use some work. Now I’ve done some cross training weekly in the pool during the season but when it came to the weight room, it was more of a staring contest with the weights. This vacation really gave me an incentive to be more serious about cross training and yeah, it’s been cool.
I’ve been on the elliptical and done more weight training and of course I’ve still been running but for 20 minutes on the treadmill because I can’t stand the treadmill.
Anyways, thought I would give out a small post.
